Lauren Kwolek & Tory Chlanda

Lauren T. Kwolek and Tory J. Chlanda were married Aug. 18 at Johnson Chapel at Amherst College. Torin Moore, a friend of the couple, officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Gregory and Juliana Kwolek of Southampton. The bridegroom is the son of Rudy and Kathi Chlanda of Amherst.

Following a reception at the Lord Jeffery Inn in Amherst, the couple honeymooned in Italy.

Sarah Kwolek and Katherine Kwolek, the bride’s sisters, were the maids of honor. The bridesmaids were Jillian Kwolek, the bride’s cousin, Alecka Kress, Kacy Lansing and Merrill Malouf, the bridegroom’s sister-in-law. The flower girl was Delanie Becker.

Trevor Chlanda, the bridegroom’s brother, was the best man. The groomsmen were Daniel Matarazzo, Steve Hadeka, Roger Barstow, Ben Hylton and Phil Lailer.

The bride, 29, is an application analyst at Baystate Health Care in Springfield. A 2001 graduate of Hampshire Regional High School in Westhampton, she received a bachelor’s degree in finance and business administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., in 2005 and a master’s degree in healthcare informatics from Northeastern University in Boston in 2011.

The groom, 34, owns Lawn Jockey, Inc. in Amherst. A 1996 graduate of Amherst Regional High School, he received a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Johnson State College in Johnson, Vt., in 2001.
