VISION LOSS CAREGIVERS — MAB Community Services offers a support group for caregivers of those with vision loss. The group meets regularly on the last Thursday of the month from 1-2 p.m. at the First Churches, 129 Main St., Northampton. Participants will learn about area services and resources, develop techniques to reduce stress and share ideas with others caring for someone with vision loss. Free. CANCER — Cancer Connection, 41 Locust St., Northampton, offers a range of support groups for breast cancer, melanoma, ovarian and gynecological cancers; one group is intended for all types of cancer. CANCER — A support group for adults with cancer in the Amherst area, offered by Cancer Connection, meets every other Friday. EPILEPSY — A support group for people with epilepsy and for parents and caregivers of children with epilepsy meets on the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon in the Community Room of Lilly Library, Florence. PARKINSON’S DISEASE — Classes in yoga, relaxation and movement for those with Parkinson’s disease are offered by instructor Donna Brooks on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to noon at the New Directions Center, Route 9, Hadley. The classes teach fun and accessible movements to support dexterity, strength, balance, walking, vocalization, flexibility, motor control and rapidity. Next series begin June 27. Fee.
