Robert M. Harrison: Candidate Karen Cadieux ready to hit ground running as mayor in Easthampton

To the editor:

Thanks to Easthampton Community Access Television for sponsoring an early mayoral debate forum. As this is the first time a new mayor will be elected in over 16 years in Easthampton, it is most important to listen and learn about the candidates early.

Any transition from our one and only mayor is a critical one. Easthampton needs a mayor who knows of the inner workings of our municipality and can take on the job with a short learning curve. I believe that individual is candidate Karen Cadieux.

Karen has worked in municipal management and been involved in all aspects of city business for over 18 years, thus she is able to “hit the ground running” on day one. Karen is a true leader, and has expressed good ideas for improving our community as a whole. The more I learn about what Karen stands for and offers as our next mayor, the more I am confident of my vote for her.

I invite others to take the time to speak with Karen Cadieux to learn more about her vision for building a better Easthampton.

Robert M. Harrison
