Area police news
■ A 15-year-old Amherst girl suffered a serious wrist injury after falling while climbing onto the roof of Crocker Farm School Sunday at 10:12 p.m. Police said the girl, who was brought by Amherst Fire Department ambulance to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield for treatment of a possible wrist fracture, was with a friend and was trying to scale a wall when she slipped and used her arm to break her fall.
■ Daniel Patrick McGough, 42, of 40 Spaulding St., was arrested July 4 at 8:05 a.m. on Belchertown Road on a charge of domestic assault after he allegedly made threats toward a woman about eight hours earlier, police said.
■ Jyhoa Chea, 27, of 551 Amherst Road, Granby, was arrested July 3 at 6:29 p.m. on Sunderland Road on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and failure to identify himself to police.
■ Police were informed July 3 at 2:53 p.m. that two passenger-side windows were smashed out from a vehicle parked at the Notch Visitors Center, 1500 West St., and three cameras inside it were stolen.
■ Robert J. Cronin, 24, of 139 North Washington St., was arrested Sunday at 8:50 p.m. at a Belchertown home on a charge of assault.
■ Kalem T. Daniels, 29, of Milford, was arrested Friday at 9:50 p.m. on Federal Street on charges of intimidating a witness and receiving stolen property over $250.
■ James Joseph Gryszan, 62, of 20 Hampton Ave. Apt. 410, was arrested about 8:14 p.m. Sunday at the police station on Center Street on a, Eastern Hampshire District Court warrant related to a failure to pay fines, police said.
■ Reynaldo Rolon Rios, 41, of Springfield, was arrested about 3:54 p.m. Sunday on Pleasant Street on a Springfield District Court warrant for failure to appear in court, police said.
