Wednesday's prep school games: Alicia Barry’s six RBIs pace Williston softball

Alicia Barry went 3-for-4 with a home run, six RBIs and two runs scored as the Williston softball team defeated Hotchkiss 21-6 in five innings Wednesday in Easthampton.

Liz Calderon (two runs, three RBIs) also went 3-for-4 for the Wildcats (1-1).

Gabby Jones (two runs, one RBI) and Jill Slezek (three runs) had two hits each.

Delaney Belinskas struck out five in five innings of work to earn in the win.

Baseball

Salisbury 9, Williston 1 — Erik Ostberg had two hits and scored a run for the Wildcats (1-2) in the loss at home.

Frank Zumbo was 1-for-3 with an RBI.

Girls lacrosse

Williston 16, Miss Porter’s 5 — Kirstyn Kruse scored four goals and Meg Szalowski added three as the Wildcats (3-0) remained undefeated with the win at home.

Maddie Hatch (two goals, two assists), Karly Simpson (two, two) and Grace Simpson (one, three) all had four points.

Janelle Parker and Rosie Lacas combined for two saves.

Boys lacrosse

Williston 15, Kimball Union 9 — Nick Garofano had four goals and two assists as the Wildcats (1-3) picked up their first win of the season at home.

Griffin Foley (two assists) and Aidan Rai added three goals each, while Dan Gould of Easthampton and Colin Brown both had two goals and one assist.

Conor Archbald of Williamsburg was credited with three assists.

Ian Boldman made nine saves.

Girls water polo

Williston 8, Suffield 4 — Maddy Stern of Northampton scored four goals as the Wildcats (2-3) won at home.

Sam Frye added two goals, while Ashley Fitch of Deerfield and Lindsay Richardson of Sunderland had one each.

Mary McCarthy made 15 saves in the win.

Girls tennis

Williston 7, Wilbraham & Monson 0 — Toula Sieros of Florence won at No. 1 singles, while Sarina Hahn of Northampton took her No. 4 match as the Wildcats earned a sweep on the road.

Ashby McCoy of Conway (No. 2 doubles) and Caroline Borden of Amherst (No. 3 doubles) were also involved in victories.

Girls golf

Hotchkiss 4, Williston 1; Ethel Walker 4, Williston 1 — Taylor Senecal of South Hadley, Caitlin Berube and Olivia Foster each shot a 48 for the Wildcats (0-2) in their opener in Lakeville, Conn.
