Massachusetts liberals soft on national defense

To the editor:

The past four years under President Obama have been the worst. We are more divided, up to $16.4 trillion in debt, have been downgraded and are weak, so that Iran has become unboldened. We are giving billions to Egypt which is under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood, a political group that is not our friend.

Obama wants to nominate former Sen. Charles Hagel, who has said we are too tough on Iran and too nice to Israel, as our secretary of defense. Why?

Thank you to the Massachusetts liberals who were more excited to get free stuff than they were to make sure our country survived.
