Southampton street overlooked by plow crews

Why is Laurie Drive in Southampton one of the forgotten streets when it comes to plowing? Two years ago I waited at Opa Opa Steakhouse and Brewery for 2½ hours for the street to be plowed, as there was a berm where they had plowed Strong Road and I got stuck.

I realize the children weren’t yet back to school, but people still need to get to work we weren’t plowed out until 11 a.m. one day. I work for a doctor and we are open most times and not everyone owns an SUV. Maybe one quick pass could be done when Strong Road is plowed or maybe I could deduct an SUV from my taxes.

Hmmm ....
