BOTTLE AND CAN DRIVE: The Easthampton High School girls basketball team will hold a bottle and can drive Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tasty Top on Northampton Street. Donors will receive a Burger King coupon good for 10 percent off with every donation.

South Hadley

WOMEN’S CLUB: The South Hadley Women’s Club will meet Jan. 9 at 1:30 p.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 319 Granby Road, South Hadley, for a program titled “Your Nutrition Needs” by Chris Brown of WestMass Eldercare. The chairman of the day is Barbara Duda. The invocation will be given by Beth Dietz. The tea chairman, Carleen LaBonte, and the hostesses, Jean Lambert and Kay Washburn, will provide refreshments. The executive board will meet at 12:30 p.m. Anyone interested in attending should call Lu Dachos at 532-7661. It is not necessary to be a resident of South Hadley to belong to the club or attend its meetings.
