Amherst Lion’s Club ski sale slated for Jan. 4

Amherst Lions Club’s 2nd Annual Sale will be held on Jan. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Jan. 5 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Crocker Farm Elementary School, 280 West St. The sale will include downhill and cross country skis, boots and bindings, hockey and figure skates, snowboards, clothing for adults and children, gloves, ski poles, snow shoes, as well as a number of special items. Experts will be on hand to help individuals buy just the right item and the right size.

They will also be accepting used skis and skates on consignments to resell during the sale on Jan. 4, from 4 to 6 p.m. only. Money or unsold items from consignment can be picked up after the sale ends from 2 to 4 p.m. The Amherst Leo Club will be holding a bake sale during this event.
