Council made right call to reject fountain funds

Thank you to the city councilors in Northampton who voted in opposition to restoration of the memorial fountain at Village Hill. In light of the current difficult economic environment and the enormous mandated expenditures for flood prevention measures that the city is facing over the next few years, it doesn’t make sense to spend $75,000 on a project like this.
