UMass women's basketball loses at Boston University
The University of Massachusetts women’s basketball team fell 73-50 to Boston University Wednesday in Boston.
BU hit 8-of-12 field goals to start and led 20-5 midway through the first half.
Rashida Timbilla had 13 points and 11 rebounds for UMass (2-7). Millie Niggeling had 11 points, while Jasmine Watson added 10.

Trinity 4, Amherst 2 — Erin Martin and Geneva Lloyd each scored for the Lord Jeffs (3-4).
Men’s swimming
Amherst 232, Union 66 — Freshman accounted for eight individual wins as the Lord Jeffs rolled at home.
Women’s swimming
Amherst 188, Union 83 — Freshman Emily Hyde won two individual wins as the Lord Jeffs rolled at home.
