∎ Michael Patrick Pidgeon, 28, of 717 Northampton St., Holyoke, was arrested on King Street Sunday at 2:18 a.m. on chargews of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding, police said.
∎ Ronald E. Madejewski, 53, of 8 Elm Ct., Hatfield, was arrested on Main Street Saturday at 4:22 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alco9hol (fifth offense) and operating with a suspended license, police said.
∎ Alan Helems Jr., 29, of 137 High St. Apt. Q144, Florence, was arrested on High Street Saturday at 2:07 p.m. on charges of domestic assault and battery and threatening to commit a crime after he allegedly slapped his girlfriend, pinned her down and shook her and threatened to kill her if she broke up with him, police said.
∎ A mailbox was reported struck by farm equipment on Old Ferry Road Saturday at 7:24 a.m., police said.
