CAROL LOLLIS for hamp life
LINCOLN, THE MOVIE
Can’t stop thinking about Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln,” now playing at Cinemark in Hadley. So many questions: Was Daniel Day-Lewis channeling Lincoln? How many Oscars will it win? (Best Picture, Best Actor, for Spielberg and Day-Lewis, Best Supporting for Tommy Lee Jones and Sally Fields, at least.) It gave me chills to see how Abraham Lincoln got Congress to pass the 13th Amendment. Though we know how it turned out, Spielberg makes it a nail-biter.
