Northampton City Council Agenda

These other items are on the agenda when the City Council meets tonight at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Puchalski Municipal Building:

∎ An order authorizing the city to accept a historic preservation restriction for a majority of the Clarke School property off Round Hill Road. The restrictions will apply in perpetuity to the exterior of the campus.

∎ Petitions to accept three streets as public ways — Hillcrest Drive, Center Court and Pine Valley Road. The petitions will be referred to the Planning Board and the Board of Public Works.

∎ A financial order authorizing the city’s school districts to enter into a five-year contract for educational and operational software for student information systems.

∎ Second votes on three financial orders transferring $88,253 in unused money to help offset the costs of decommissioning an old leachate plant at the landfill; $37,166 in unused funds to offset the costs to repair equipment damaged at the wastewater treatment plant; and $7,494 in unused funds toward storm drain work on Sylvester Road.

∎ A financial order appropriating or reserving $1.2 million in estimated fiscal 2013 Community Preservation Fund revenues for CPA purposes this fiscal year.
