LINDEN RAYTON and REED LOY
Linden Rayton and Reed Loy of Berkeley, Calif., were married Aug. 18 at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Durham, N.H. The Rev. Michael Bradley officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride, who is keeping her name, is the daughter of Peter Rayton and Christina Petersen of Northampton. The bridegroom is the son of Brent and Sarah Loy of Epping, N.H.
Following a reception at the home of the bridegroom’s parents, the couple honeymooned in Bretton Woods, N.H.
Molly Baechtold was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Claire Rayton, the bride’s sister, Laura Loy, the bridegroom’s sister, Elizabeth Morrissey and Colleen Flaherty.
James Hardy was the best man. The groomsmen were Jamie Loy, the bridegroom’s brother, Willis Rayton, the bride’s brother, Christian Swegles and Corey Blanchard.
The bride, 25, is a naturalist at Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center in Hayward, Calif. A 2005 graduate of Northampton High School, she received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of New Hampshire in Durham in 2009.
The bridegroom, 26, is a graduate student at Church Divinity School of the Pacific in Berkeley. A homeschooled 2004 graduate, he received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of New Hampshire in 2008.
