Lauren Elaine Perry and Cory Allen Rogers, formerly of Amherst, were married June 23 at The Driftwood Inn, Bailey Island, Maine. The Rev. David Matson officiated at the 3:25 p.m. ceremony.

The bride, who is changing her name to Perry Rogers , is the daughter of William and Megan Perry of Brunswick, Maine. The bridegroom is the son of Mary Rogers-Zion and Barbara Zion of East Freetown and William and Wilma Rogers of Sebring, Fla.

Following a reception at the Driftwood Inn, the couple honeymooned in Sandals, Ocho Rios, Jamaica.

Alison Perry, the bride’s sister, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Allison Seyforth, Vicky White, the bridegroom’s sister, Miranda White, the bridegroom’s niece, Ashley Koed, Laureen Kwong, Monique Gosselin and Sarah Lundgren. The flower girl was Makayla White, the bridegroom’s niece.

Gregor Vaczy, the bridegroom’s brother, was the best man. The groomsmen were Brandon Perry, the bride’s brother, Brendan White, the bridegroom’s nephew, Robert Slattery, Scott Slattery and Kamy Niroomand.

The bride, 30, is a 2000 graduate of Brunswick High School, Brunswick. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2004, and a master’s degree and Teaching Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies degree in 2006, all from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

The bridegroom, 40, is the director of special education for Maine School Administration District 49 in Fairfield. A 1990 graduate of Middleboro High School, Middleboro, he received a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Johnson & Wales University, Providence, R.I., in 2004 and a master’s degree in education leadership and supervision from the University of Phoenix, Phoenix, Ariz., in 2005.

The couple now live in Fairfield, where they moved after the wedding.
