Youth cheerleading squad competes, wins awards

The Easthampton Eagles Youth Cheerleading Squads came away with several awards at the We Fly High Youth Cheer Competition Oct. 20 at Central High School in Springfield.
The Peewee Squad was awarded First Place in its age group, with the third-highest score overall. The Junior Squad tied for First Place in its age group, and took Second Place overall.
The Senior Squad was awarded Second Place in its age group, Overall Spirit Award, and had the second-highest score overall.
The Pee Wee Team is coached by Luz Dedeurwaerder and high school coaches Jordan Dermody, Linsey Branscomb and Marissa Branscomb. Team members are Mckenna Betti, Delima Brewer, Lanah Carson, Kayla Dagenais, Rina Damon, Nora Dedeurwaerder, Marion Hamel, Brooke Langlais, Chantal Littleton, Laura McDermott, Meredith Mielke, Alexandria Miklasiewicz, Halia Murphey, Lilyana Paquette, Skylar Raskevitz, Stephanie Sawyer, Elizabeth Scoble and Serenidy White.
Junior Team is coached by Lorrie Dragon and high school coaches Sidney Gomez, Addy Boysen and Jess Connor. Team members include Kaitlyn Boszko, Abriell Dalton, Naomi Dedeurwaerder, Emma Dragon, Marissa Dunham, Taryn Lajewski, Ivy Lundrigan, Takara Madera-Therrien, Jenna Malouin, Catherine Willis and Jacqueline Young.
Senior Team is coached by Shannon Dunham and high school coaches Kirdeyjah Fraser and Nikki DeDeurwaerder. Team members are Reese Deshaies, Jayna Hanlon, Jessica Leveille, Peyton Mackey, Jordyn Newsome, Morgan O’Leary, Elizabeth Seymour, Melissa Seymour and Lisa Sikop.
