Easthampton All 4 Kids Consignment Sale going strong

Over the 10 years that Molly Ward has held her semiannual consignment sale of children’s clothing and items, it has grown from a small church fundraiser with about 20 participants to a flourishing business with more than 170 consignors signed up for this fall’s event.

The All 4 Kids Consignment Sale takes place Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The sale will include new and gently used clothing for infants up to children’s size 20, baby gear, shoes and boots, Halloween costumes, snowsuits, toys, books, DVDs, games, children’s furniture and sports equipment.

The sale will be held at a new location: the site of the former Fedor car dealership at 228 Northampton St. (Route 10) in Easthampton.

Consignors receive a set percentage of the revenue that is generated from their sold items and they also have the option of allowing their leftover items to be donated at the end of the two-day sale. For the past eight years, the event has donated items from cradles to crayons, to an organization in Boston that provides essential items to young children from homeless or low-income families. This year, some of the leftover items will be given to The Bethlehem House in Easthampton, a free pregnancy resource provider. Ward lives in Easthampton and works part time at the Williston Northampton School as a tutor and coach.

Information and logistics on the sale are available at www.sites.google.com/site/all4kidseasthampton.
