Sammy Dame leads Gateway gymnastics to runner-up in meet
Sammy Dame led the Gateway Regional gymnastics team to a second-place finish in its home meet with Minnechaug and Agawam Tuesday.
The host Gators finished with 117.325, in between first-place Minnechaug (128.375) and third-place Agawam (116.525).
Dame was third in all-around, fourth on floor, fourth on vault and tied with teammate Aleesha Grochowski for second on in beam.
