Wednesday’s golf: Hampshire falls to Palmer

Strong performances by the Hampshire Regional golf team’s top two players weren’t enough to lift the Raiders past Palmer in a matchup between unbeaten teams in the Bi-County West on Wednesday.

No. 1 Sean Ryan shot a 40 and defeated Grant Farr 3-1, while No. 2 Jake Antosz was the medalist with a 37 and a 3-1 win over Eddie Sablak, but Hampshire fell to the Panthers 15½-8½.

No. 3 Eddie Hagelstein shot a 45 and earned two points for the Raiders (5-2-1, 5-1-1) in a tie with Zach James of Palmer (8-1, 6-0).
