Browns celebrate 50th

Walter and Virginia Brown of Westhampton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 26 at a party at Outlook Farm in Westhampton with family and friends. Their sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Heather Brown and Chris and Cheryl Brown, hosted the gathering.

Walter Brown and Virginia Edwards were married Sept. 1, 1962, in New York City.

Walt Brown taught science at Northampton High School for 30 years and is now retired. Ginny Brown, also retired, taught third grade at Westhampton Elementary School for 30 years.
