George and Christine Guyette of Leeds celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a gathering at the Northampton Country Club with family and close friends.
George Guyette and Christine Clapp were married Sept. 1, 1962, at the Westhampton Congregational Church.
They have three daughters: Sheryl Fappiano, who lives with her husband, Todd Fappiano, in Leeds; Charlene Davey of South Deerfield; and Julianne Guyette, who lives with her partner, Jamie Aitken, in Leeds. They also have nine grandchildren.
After their marriage the Guyettes built a home on Chesterfield Road, where they raised their family and where they continue to reside.
George Guyette is retired from the former Clear-Vue Maintenance in Florence. Christine Guyette is retired from Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton.
