Tractor-trailer loaded with cabbage slides off Interstate 91, closing southbound lane

A state police trooper at the Northampton barracks said the tractor-trailer, which crashed around 3 a.m., was towed between 7:30 and 8 p.m. For most of the day, traffic traveling southbound was merged into one lane as state police attempted to get the tractor-trailer upright.

It was also time consuming to remove the cabbage from the tractor-trailer and the road, according to state police.

The accident is believed to have been due to slick road conditions caused by overnight rain, police said.

My first thought was "did anyone fall off?" bu then I felt badly for all the people who had to deal with the cold slaw.
