Your Photos: Leverett’s crystals

Oran Kaufman of Cave Hill Road in Leverett shot this photo on the morning of Dec. 24 and wrote this note:

“As a cross country skier, I am always a bit bummed when we get ice instead of snow. On the other hand, I know that an ice storm will result in some beautiful ice creations on branches, leaves and streams. This particular morning, the sun shining on the frozen branches added a magical element. Let your mind wander. I see dancers.”
