James Marcou scored with one minute, one second remaining in overtime to give the University of Massachusetts hockey team a 4-3 victory over Yale Thursday night in New Haven, Conn.
Marcou's shot defelcted off Bulldog defenseman Jimmy martin and into the net past goaltender Nick Maricic (32 saves) to give the 11th-ranked Minutemen (8-2) their second overtime win of the season.

AMHERST - It's probably a little too early to be thinking about what it would take for the University of Massachusetts hockey team to make the NCAA Tournament. There are still 25 regular-season games left on the Minutemen's schedule.

The University of Massachusetts hockey team's weekend split with New Hampshire kept the Minutemen in first place in Hockey East and kept the Minutemen climbing in the U.S. College Hockey Online Top 25.

Bobby Butler scored two goals and goaltender Brian Foster made 33 saves to give the University of New Hampshire hockey team a 4-2 win over the 14th-ranked University of Massachusetts and a split of their weekend series Saturday night at the Mullins Center.
The Minutemen (7-2, 4-2 Hockey East) won 4-3 in overtime Friday night.

David Boehm scored after two minutes, five seconds of overtime to give the University of Massachusetts hockey team a 4-3 win over New Hampshire at the Mullins Center Friday night.
Casey Wellman tied the game for the 14th-ranked Minutemen (7-1, 4-1 Hockey East) with 11 seconds to play.
UMass goaltender Paul dainton made a career-high 42 saves.

Casey Wellman and James Marcou scored in the final five minutes of the game to give the 19th-ranked University of Massachusetts men's hockey team a 4-2 win at Niagara Sunday afternoon.
Michael Marcou and Will Ortiz also scored for the Minutemen (6-1). Wellman added two assists.
Dan Meyers got his first start of the season in goal for UMass and made 25 saves.
