NORTHAMPTON - Police broke up a disturbance at Meadowbrook Apartments late Wednesday during which one person brandished a BB gun that looked to onlookers and police like a semiautomatic pistol.
Despite the commotion, police said no crimes were committed and no charges will result.
Officers were called to building 20 of the 491 Bridge Road apartment complex about 10:30 p.m.

NORTHAMPTON - State law requires that information about people convicted of the most serious sex crimes be provided to the public. But it's against the law for anyone to use that information to harass a sex offender.
According to Northampton Police, a city resident broke that law Monday night.

NORTHAMPTON - A Northampton woman was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol Sunday evening after she failed to navigate an interstate off-ramp and drove off the road into a ditch, state police said.
