GREENFIELD - A five-alarm fire ripped through the building at 29 Chapman St. early Sunday morning, destroying the upper floors and leaving 21 people homeless.
Greenfield Fire Chief Michael Winn said that neither a cause of the fire nor its point of origin had been determined Sunday afternoon, but that both were being investigated.

GREENFIELD - It was exactly one year ago Sunday that Anne Jagodowski moved into her apartment at 29 Chapman St.
Three hundred and sixty-five days later, Jagodowski lost everything except two dogs, one cat and the clothes she was wearing when she escaped the fire which left her and 20 other residents homeless.
