Easthampton man files lawsuit stemming from injury with granite slab

NORTHAMPTON - An Easthampton homeowner who claims he was injured helping two workers who dropped a 700-pound concrete slab is seeking $1.6 million in damages from their employer and the company that contracted with them to perform the work.

LACUS, Paul A., 28, Chicopee, was found innocent on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, second offense.

LAVALLEE, Jeremy, 29, 463 Rocky Hill Road, Florence, was found innocent on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

NORTHAMPTON - Police Wednesday arrested a Florence man who allegedly disciplined his 10-year-old son by making him hold a jug full of water over his head for 30 minutes.

Police: Men brawl inside minivan

NORTHAMPTON - Two men were arrested after an alleged brawl inside a minivan parked on Old South Street Monday afternoon.

Wayne H. Ascioti, 48, of 472 North King St., and Joseph Stanley Borowski, 42, of 5 Linden St., were arrested about 3:40 p.m. on charges of disorderly conduct and assault and battery.
