The Holyoke hockey team cruised into the postseason with a 5-0 victory over Chicopee Comp in its regular-season finale on Friday.
Brian Rokowski scored two goals for Holyoke (18-1-1, 9-0-1 Wright), and Kevin Stefanik added a goal and two assists.
Spencer Nawrocki recorded a goal and an assist for the Knights, and Nate Standen scored the other goal.

Sean Cunningham's career night capped the Amherst Regional boys basketball team's terrific run to the end of the regular season with a 74-71 win at East Longmeadow.
Cunningham scored 34 points to go with eight rebounds and four assists for the Hurricanes (11-9, 5-3 Suburban), who finished tied with the Spartans (16-4, 5-3 Suburban) for second in the league.

Annie Broda continued her strong recent play and led the Holyoke Catholic girls basketball team to a league title-clinching 53-42 victory over McCann Tech at Holyoke Community College Wednesday.
Broda scored a game-high 17 points, including four 3-pointers, and has 52 in her last three games for Catholic (11-9, 8-0 Bi-County West).

The Belchertown girls basketball hopes the third time will be a charm when it comes to Palmer.
The Orioles played the Panthers tough once again but could not hand them their first loss of the season, falling 49-41 in Palmer Tuesday.

The Northampton boys basketball team avenged an earlier loss to Amherst Regional and finish their regular season on a high note Monday night, while the Hurricanes were left still needing a win to qualify for the Western Massachusetts Division 1 Tournament.
The Blue Devils pulled away for a 67-54 win in Amherst.

One night after scoring a career-high 26 points, Belchertown junior forward Brianna DelValle netted 25 in a 52-32 win over Holyoke Catholic on Saturday.
DelValle scored 19 of her points in the first half to help the Orioles (13-5) jump out to a 29-15 lead at halftime.

The Amherst Regional girls basketball team is less than one week from possibly finishing 20-0 in the regular season.
The Hurricanes shut out Longmeadow in the first quarter of Friday's contest en route to a 68-21 victory to imrpove to 17-0 (7-0 Suburban) on the year.
Amherst led 17-0 after the first quarter and 29-8 at halftime in the victory at home.
