GREENFIELD - Greenfield Community College board of trustees approved this year's budget, but with a wary eye toward later this fall as they anticipate more cuts coming from the state.
The board approved this year's budget of $23.9 million on Wednesday at its meeting at the college's downtown center.

GREENFIELD - Sunderland lawyer Liz Sillin has been appointed by Gov. Deval Patrick to serve as a member of the Greenfield Community College Board of Trustees.
Sillin has served for eight years as a member of the GCC Foundation Board of Directors, with two years as vice president and the past year as president of the foundation board.
