How did you land your job? My husband and I started the business in April 2012.

What’s most challenging about your work? Marketing

What do you like about your job? I love working with seniors. Always have. Enhancing their quality of life is an innate passion of mine.

What is your key to success? Having a passion for what you do, and being good at it.

How do you feel the Valley economy will fare this year? Fair. I am hopeful things will turn around, especially for working caregivers who need this program desperately.

Why did you choose to do business in the Valley? I have seen a profound need for affordable, comprehensive senior care in this community.

Who has helped mentor you professionally? Alison Bartlett O’Donald has offered hours of invaluable advice and shared her expertise.

Name a few of your goals for the coming year: To fill Golden Moments to capacity, and be able to offer grants for seniors who need the program but cannot afford it.

Tell us a little-known fact about you: I am not very good at being a boss; I’m better at improving the lives of seniors by knowing what they need.

What is your advice for others seeking business success? Don’t give up; persistence pays off; a positive outlook speaks volumes.
