Amherst farmers invited to agricultural forum
Farmers and others involved in the agricultural community will participate in an open forum Thursday.
“What’s Growing On” will be a discussion about what is happening at local farms and what is being planned for the future.
Moderated by state Rep. Ellen Story, D-Amherst, the event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Town Room at Town Hall.
Representatives from the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce and municipal staff will be on hand to answer questions and assist with creating a strategic framework related to community needs for farmers and their goals.
Light refreshments will be served.
