Bergantino turns ankle; Doesn't appear serious;

University of Massachusetts freshman big man Tyler Bergantino turned his right ankle during Monday’s practice and did not return to the court.

UMass coach Derek Kellogg was uncertain about the severity of the injury.

“I’m not sure. I think we’ll know something tomorrow after they look at it after a day,” Kellogg said. “It’s wait and see. It didn’t look like it was that bad. But you never know.”

Bergantino, a 6-foot-9 big man, had one point and five rebounds in 16 minutes of Saturday’s exhibition win over American International College.
