Belchertown (D3), South Hadley (D2) No. 1 in power rankings

The Belchertown and South Hadley football teams remained in the No. 1 spot in their respective divisions when the updated MIAA Western Mass. football power ratings were released Sunday.

South Hadley (13.25) is No. 1 in Division 2, just ahead of Wahconah (13.00). Commerce is third and Hoosac is fourth.

Undefeated Belchertown (16.86) is first in Division 3. Greenfield (15.14) is second with Mount Greylock third and St. Joseph’s fourth.

The Orioles play at No. 5 Athol Friday, then play at Greenfield on Nov. 9.

Easthampton (11.00) is No. 2 in Division 4 behind Pathfinder (13.50). Turners is third and Ware is fourth.

Central (15.50) is in command of the top spot in Division 1. Longmeadow (11.50) is second, Minnechaug third (11.00) and Northampton fourth (8.75).

Chicopee (8.00) is fifth.
