NFL Power Rankings - Week 13

My thoughts to think about:

*No changes in the Top 3 as Houston, Atlanta and Baltimore all won their games…barely. In fact, they all won by a combined 7 points.
*The Packers got spankled by the Giants, but they remain in the Top 10. However, after a tough loss to Atlanta, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fall from #10 to #12. They are replaced by the surging Cincinnati Bengals who have won 3 in a row by a combined 93-29.
*Speaking of the Bengals, they are the Team on the Rise as they clawed their way up to #10 from #16.
*Oh, and those spankled Packers are the Team on the Slide as the Giants knock them down 5 spots to #9.
*Pats recap for my New England readers: So, does anyone think the Pats are missing their Gronk? They shellacked the Jets on Thanksgiving by a score of 49-19. Not that the competition has been all that fierce. We’ll see how it goes against Miami, Houston and San Francisco over the next 3 weeks.
*Every time I get down on Miami, they come back with a big win…this time over the Seattle Seahawks. It’s like Brokeback Mountain up in here. Oh Miami…I can’t quit you!
*Week 12 Survivor recap – It started out a little rough, but Denver was able to pull ahead at the end and finished off the Chiefs in Kansas City by a score of 17-9.
*Week 13 Survivor pick – I had originally planned to take Oakland at home against Cleveland, but I have no confidence in that pick anymore. So instead, I guess I’ll go with Carolina at Kansas City (again?). If I had money on it, I would probably go with Chicago, but I’m saving them for Week 16.
