My thoughts to think about:
The last undefeated team goes down as the Saints upset the Falcons. That made the #1 spot up for grabs in the Bears/Texans game. Houston squeaked out the win and they retake the #1 spot in the rankings.
Once again, the Giants fall in the Top 10 but they cling to the final spot because I can’t get myself to put Indy or Seattle ahead of them…yet.
The biggest surprise after Week 10 for me is the lack of any one or two dominant teams in either Conference. The AFC has Houston, Baltimore, New England, Denver and Pittsburgh and I can see any of them beating the others on any given day. In the NFC, you have Atlanta, Chicago, Green Bay, San Francisco and the Giants. Once again, no one team completely outshines the others. It’s going to make for an interesting playoff race!
With a convincing win over the New York Giants, the Cincinnati Bengals are the new Team on the Rise. They vault up 7 spots from #25 to #18.
My Miami Dolphins have lost back-to-back games against Indianapolis and Tennessee and they seem to have lost some of their defensive dominance. They fall 5 spots to #20 and are this week’s Team on the Slide.
Pats recap for my New England readers: ok, so it wasn’t a serious butt-whoopin’, but the Patriots did win against the Bills…barely. It took an interception in the end zone in the final seconds to avoid blowing another big lead, but hey…a win is a win…right? In week 11, the Pats will try their Luck with Indianapolis.
Week 10 Survivor recap – An injury to Ben Roethlisberger made my Steelers pick a little less of a no-brainer, but they still pulled it out in OT.
Week 11 Survivor pick – Pickin’s are starting to get a little slim, but the Cowboys have been playing better as of late and they are at home against the Browns. I’ll go with Dallas.
