NFL Double - Power Rankings and Matt vs. Jim for Week 10

A NFL double-dip post here with our updated NFL Power Rankings and Matt vs. Jim for Week 10

Here are Frank's rankings and comments:

1. Atlanta Falcons (8-0)
2. Houston Texans (7-1)
3. Chicago Bears (7-1)
4. San Francisco 49ers (6-2)
5. Baltimore Ravens (6-2)
6. New York Giants (6-3)
7. Green Bay Packers (6-3)
8. New England Patriots (5-3)
9. Pittsburgh Steelers (5-3)
10. Denver Broncos (5-3)
11. Seattle Seahawks (5-4)
12. Indianapolis Colts (5-3)
13. Minnesota Vikings (5-4)
14. Detroit Lions (4-4)
15. Miami Dolphins (4-4)
16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4-4)
17. San Diego Chargers (4-4)
18. Dallas Cowboys (3-5)
19. New Orleans Saints (3-5)
20. Arizona Cardinals (4-5)
21. Philadelphia Eagles (3-5)
22. Washington Redskins (3-6)
23. St. Louis Rams (3-5)
24. Oakland Raiders (3-5)
25. Cincinnati Bengals (3-5)
26. New York Jets (3-5)
27. Buffalo Bills (3-5)
28. Tennessee Titans (3-6)
29. Carolina Panthers (2-6)
30. Cleveland Browns (2-7)
31. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-7)
32. Kansas City Chiefs (1-7)

My thoughts to think about:
*The Atlanta Falcons grinded out another win, this time over the Cowboys. Atlanta remains undefeated and they remain #1 in the rankings.
*Other than the Giants dropping a couple spots, the Top 10 remains virtually unchanged. I could have moved the Giants down even further, but they get a pass after dealing with Hurricane Sandy.
*The biggest surprise after Week 9 for me is that no coaches have been fired yet. There are some pretty bad teams at the bottom of the rankings (looking at you K.C., Jacksonville & Cleveland) and a few other teams who were expected to be better than they are (hello Carolina, Cincinnati, Philadelphia & Dallas). Don’t be surprised if teams start dropping the ax on their coaches in the coming weeks.
*Maybe I was too hasty to drop New Orleans as far as I did after a loss to a solid Denver Broncos team. With a nice bounce-back win over Philly on MNF, the Saints are the Team on the Rise, jumping back up to #19.
*The Arizona Cardinals started the season 4-0 and have since lost 5 games in a row. That easily qualifies them to be the Team on the Slide, dropping from #15 to #20.
*Pats recap for my New England readers: The Pats had a bye week in Week 9 and they welcome the Buffalo Bills to New England in Week 10. I don’t want to jinx it, but the Pats should hand the Bills a serious butt-whoopin’!
*Miami suffered a tough loss to the Indianapolis Colts and allowed Andrew Luck to set a rookie QB record for most passing yards in a single game. Ugh! They should have better luck against Tennessee this week.
*Week 9 Survivor recap – The Texans came through with a 21-9 home win over the Bills last week.
*Week 10 Survivor pick – I’m going with the Steelers at home against the Chiefs on MNF. No-brainer!
