For me blogs are like the people who write them. I am attracted to the ones that I can relate to... that I have something in common with, or that I find fascinating in some way.

Lately, I have found that the celeb blogs to be fun for the trashy reasons that we all share. The sick curiosity that makes us wonder if Angelina is going to gain some weight back or if Eddie Murphy really is the father...

Aside from that I like to read blogs for a window into people's lives. I like when a blog is personal. When a blogger reveals how they think, and feel about any topic.

Finally, I read blogs that I can learn from. For me that usually means blogs related to Internet media approaches or programming. It is amazing how much sharing goes on, and that keeps the Internet going to a large degree. The open exchange of info accelerates the transfer of knowledge and so promotes innovation and invention.
