We're getting closer.....

The feedback has been reaching us, we're implementing fixes based on
it, and GazetteNET 7.0 is creeping ever closer to a live launch as a
result. But, since it seemed like we haven't had a blog entry in a long while (since that's one of the areas we've left toward last to put into full motion), I thought I'd post one.

I remain busy with the current version of the site as well as posting the new version each day, and updating breaking news, and working with my New Media colleagues on said fixes, and a zillion other things. But this will be a channel for us to let everyone know how things are going. So, beta testers, keep those cards and letters coming -- we need 'em.

Now Playing, henceforth to be known as NP: Kate Bush, The Dreaming. (Yes, a fair amount of my work gets done under the headphones....when the press of multimedia projects and the needs of my editorial colleagues permit, of course. If/when I can revert to my earlier schedule, I should be able to tuck in at least a full album in the morning before the people, phones and e-mail heat up.)
