Former Minuteman Tony Barbee, the head coach at Auburn, hired Harper Williams to joined his staff as an administrative assistant.

Williams, who had a long professional career in Europe, was Barbee's teammate at UMass in the early 1990s.

Another former Minuteman Mike Babul is the Auburn director of basketball operations.
