UMass senior infielder Matt Gedman was named to the All-New Englandfirst team Monday by the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association.

Gedman, who was also a first team all A-10 selection his .402 as a senior.

He's eligible to play in the NEIBA All-Star Game Thursday at 7 p.m. at Lowell.
