WEEK 10 — FRIDAY, NOV. 6
Leah Haake (Amherst Regional cross country)
I read an article recently about the new findings of the skull of a pilosaur, an aquatic reptile, that resided in the waters near Britain 150 million years ago. It was large enough to consume a T-Rex!

Steph Slysz (Smith Academy field hockey)
I finally finished my college application. After months of laboriously going over every question, getting letters of recommendation, and supplements completed, it is nice to press the submit button. Now all I have to do is wait. Which might be the hardest part.

Abby Majewski (Providence volleyball/Frontier grad)
Finishing up my last full week of practice.. trying to get ready for our last game of the season on Wednesday vs. Manhattan College. I can’t believe it’s almost over!

Paul Norton (Brandeis cross country/Amherst Regional grad)
Yikes. Our conference meet certainly did not go as planned, as we were devastated with a 5th place finish.  Although it was disappointing, I think it might be a good thing to go into regionals with a chip on our shoulder and nothing to lose.

Jamey Mercer (South Hadley boys soccer)
We needed to win or tie Monday night to make the playoffs. Holyoke came in and beat us on our senior night in a well played game. I just can’t believe its over.
