Girls Hoop Top 25

All the weather issues caused enough postponements to limit results and, therefore, movement, but there were a few interesting things.
Also, I don't like to write about the referees because I know it's a very hard job (yes, I've done it) and I know that they take too much abuse, but if I never see another game called by the crew that did Belchertown-Palmer it will be too soon. No one in that building paid to see the refs that night, but at least one of them was sure that they did. No one in that building paid to see every little ticky-tack bit of contact called a foul, but at least one of them was sure that they did. And it was brutal on both sides to the point of comedy. Big-time credit goes to the two coaches. There are few who would have gotten out of that game without at least one technical and I was impressed that neither one of them got one.
Here's my story from that game.
Here's our high school notebook from this week, which leads with Adam Harrington running a four-game varsity event at Pioneer Regional on Saturday in honor of his late sister.
