Here's the link to the Western Mass. Media Poll, which is tabulated by Masslive.com and features 10 voters this week.
And here are our individual votes:
Mike’s Top 10s
Week 5 (Record, last week)
1. Longmeadow (3-2, 1) — Still the best team in WESTERN massachusetts.
2. East Longmeadow (4-0, 2) — Spartans are closing fast on their neighbors.
3. Chicopee (4-1, 5) — Huge matchup with South Hadley this week.
4. Hoosac Valley (5-0, 7) — Hurricanes last unbeaten Berkshire County team.
5. Chicopee Comp (4-0, 8) — Colts’ D allowing less than 7 ppg.
6. South Hadley (3-2, 4) — Tough setback against Cathedral but Tigers need to regroup with Pacers visiting Friday.
7. Central (3-2, 3) — Did the Golden Eagles look past Agawam last Friday with Longmeadow this week?
8. Wahconah (4-1, 6) — Loss to Hoosac no big deal. These two should meet in the Berkshire title game anyway.
9. Mahar (4-0, 9) — Senators should get past Belchertown this Friday. Unbeaten Sci-Tech looms next week.
10. Cathedral (4-1, n/a) — Panthers score big win over South Hadley, and in the process jump into top 10. A good showing this week against West Side should prove last Friday was no fluke.

Mike's Top 10

Jim's Top 10
Note: A bit of movement here, as I felt that I had Central and Chicopee too low last week. The 10th spot is the toughest right now and I kept West Side in for one more week because no one else jumped out at me, especially considering their strength of schedule.
1. Longmeadow (2-1)
2. East Longmeadow (2-0)
3. South Hadley (2-1)
4. Chicopee Comp (3-0)
5. Central (2-1)

7. Hoosac Valley (3-0)
8. Agawam (2-1)
9. Wahconah (3-0)
10. West Springfield (1-2)

Click here for a breakdown of the team leaders on offense and defense. A quick note on the team stats: it’s true that Berkshire County knows how to play defense. Hoosac Valley and Wahconah are tied for fourth in western Mass. in defense. Drury is ninth while St. Joe’s is 12th, Taconic 14th and Lee 16th. Another thing, South Hadley averages 65.7 points per game and allows 43.7 points per game in their three Division 2 games. That’s about a +-10 on both sides of their current average, which reflects their Division 1-heavy schedule. Something to consider come tournament time.

Division 1 (record, last week)
1. Minnechaug Regional (6-1, 1) - I'm giving the Falcons a mulligan here, but they could have dropped to No. 2. I still think they are the best team right now.
2. Ludlow (5-1, 4) - Shot the lights out over the Minnechaug 1-2-2 defense to hand Falcons their first loss of the year.
3. Northampton (7-1, 2) - Take on No. 1 (nationally) Mater Dei of Santa Ana, California Friday at the Hoophall.
4. East Longmeadow (6-1, 5) - Have won three straight since shocking loss to Agawam, including a bit of revenge in a 57-41 win at the Brownies.
5. Holyoke (6-2, 6) - Opened the season with losses to Minnechaug and East Longmeadow, but have won six straight since, including downing Ludlow at home on Jan. 6.
6. West Springfield (6-2, 7) - Beat Central at home and have Minnechaug tonight, then Agawam Friday. uite the week.
7. Central (6-3, 3) - Dropped four spots after loss to Terriers, but could bounce right back up with win over Minnechaug at Hoophall Friday night.
8. Agawam (4-4, 8) - Have won every other game so far this year.
9. Amherst Regional (4-5, 10) - Getting healthy in time for the second half.
10. Longmeadow (4-5, 9) - Rebounded from surprising loss to Westfield with a blowout win over Belchertown.
Division 2
1. Palmer (8-0, 1) - Battle of unbeatens on Friday when it hosts Ware.
2. Mohawk Trail (8-0, 3) - 15-point win over Mahar makes Warriors the last undefeated team in Franklin League.
3. Monument Mountain (8-1, 5) - Have a shot at revenge at Drury (the only blemish on the season) on Jan. 19.
4. Mahar (7-1, 2) - The Senators will get another crack at Mohawk on Feb. 12.
5. Athol (6-1, 4) - Have won five straight since loss to Mahar.
6. Commerce (7-2, 7) - Remaining schedule is surprisingly easy. Could absolutely win out.
7. Drury (6-2, 8) - Survived scares from Mount Greylock (64-63) and Taconic (51-46).
8. Wahconah Regional (5-3, 10) - Have won two straight heading into Friday's game against Lee.
9. Hampshire Regional (3-6, 9) - Played well at Agawam on Tuesday, but fell to 1-4 against D-1 teams.
10. Belchertown (6-2, 6) - Rough game against Longmeadow Wednesday, but gets the slight nod ahead of Hoosac Valley (6-2).
Division 3
1. Lee (6-3, 1) - Have rebounded with three straight wins after three-game losing streak.
2. Sabis (8-2, 2) - I asked one western Mass. coach whether Sabis could beat Lee at the Cage. That coach pretty much laughed in my face. I have slightly more faith in the Bulldogs than that.
3. Ware (7-0, 6) - Justine King probably should have been on my D-3 preseason team.
4. Monson (7-1, 3) - Dropped below Ware not because of anything the Mustangs did or didn't do, but more because I've become more of a believer in the Indians. Anyway, teams play Jan. 23 and Feb. 14, so they'll be able to sort it out.
5. New Leadership (7-4, 4) - Anyone doubt that Bilqis can score 41 at the Hoophall? Millbury is, however, the best team the Wildcats have faced this year. And they can play some D.
6. Smith Academy (6-3, 5) - Injuries have blunted the Falcons big start. Not many teams can afford to lose their two best ballhandlers and hope to beat Mohawk or Athol. Now they have Mahar on Friday. Bad, bad timing.
7. McCann Tech (6-4, 7) - The Hornets actually hung with Palmer for a half earlier this week and then got run over in the third quarter to end a four-game winning streak.
8. Hopkins Academy (3-5, 9) - Win over Easthampton was huge for any postseason hopes.
9. Putnam (7-1, 10) - Easily the class of the TCL, still. Now just waiting to see if they can do anything in the postseason.
10. Lenox (2-6, 8) - Have lost four straight, including three in a row to D-2 teams with winning records.
