Dear GazetteNET Users:
Before you proceed to our new site, please read the following.
We would like to invite you to view the new site, now in BETA testing. We plan to decommission the current version of GazetteNET in the coming weeks, and would like you to have a chance to get accustomed to the new look and navigation beforehand.
As part of the site update, all GazetteNET users will be required to choose a proper "username." Previously, your registered email address had been used as your username. This was OK because it was used only to log you into GazetteNET. However, new features on the upcoming site require that your username be distinct from your email address. Your username can be any moniker of your choosing, including your real name if you would like.
You may CHANGE YOUR USERNAME now at this URL:
http://www.gazettenet.com/beta/login
Once you have successfully chosen your username, it will go into effect immediately. Please use this new username (along with your old password) to log into both our new site as well as the current site until it is decommissioned.
You can visit the new GazetteNET here:

We are excited to be launching this new version of GazetteNET after much hard work over the past year. We hope you will enjoy its new look and features, including:
- - More photos
- - An earlier publishing schedule
- - Staff and community blogs
- - Improved navigation
- - A personal profile page
- - Improved comment control
We thank you for your continued use of GazetteNET and hope to bring you more of what you expect from a newspaper website in 2008.
Sincerely,
The GazetteNET Team
