Weekend Planner: Music

Possumhaw is a species of holly native to the United States. Spelled with a capital H, it’s also the name of a bluegrass and folk quintet from Burlington whose “genuine, energetic and highly entertaining performances without gimmickry” (The Berkshire Eagle) have made them “a shooting star in the world of bluegrass music” (Montpelier Times). Featuring Colby Crehan — named “Vermont Vocalist of the Year” by The Times Argus — PossumHaw will be on the lawn of the Westhampton Library Thursday to close out the library’s Field of Dreams Summer Concert Series. 6:30 p.m. Free.
