Photo Gallery: Simple beauty

CAROL LOLLIS
Last week, when I was with Cheryl Wilson, shooting photos at the South Hadley Community Gardens for her weekly column, she pointed out this vine of cherry tomatoes. At first I didn’t see what had caught her eye, but then I saw how perfect they looked. I shot it from a couple of different angles but thought the one from above did the best job of showing the vine reaching to the soil, the great, green color and the shapes of each tomato. Nature does a truly amazing job of achieving beauty through simplicity.
