Kathleen Mellen’s Best Bets
LET THERE BE LIGHT
You know how the Empire State Building in New York City is bathed in lights at night? Well, Easthampton’s Old Town Hall is about to get the same treatment. On Saturday at 8:30 p.m., the facade of the building that houses a variety of art spaces will be illuminated. The programmable, color-changing system, designed by electrical contractor Wade Clement, uses state-of-the art, low-energy LEDs. Meet at 43 Main St. following Art Walk Easthampton that runs from 5 to 8 p.m.
