JEWISH FILM FEST

The Pioneer Valley Jewish Film Festival opens Thursday with “People of the Graphic Novel Documentaries: Joann Sfar Draws from Memory the Art of Spiegelman” in Mount Holyoke College’s Dwight Hall in the Library Complex, South Hadley. Also at 7 p.m., at Bay Path College in Longmeadow, a free screening of “A Bottle in the Gaza Sea.” That’s just for openers: The festival continues for two weeks, in locations all over the Valley.
