ADMISSION: A Princeton admissions officer (Tina Fey), who is up for a major promotion, takes a professional risk after she meets a college-bound alternative school kid who just might be the son she gave up years ago in a secret adoption. G.I. JOE: RETALIATION: The G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy, Cobra, they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their existence. Stars Dwayne Johnson, D.J. Cotrona, Channing Tatum. Rated PG-13.

GINGER & ROSA: Two teenage girls, inseparable friends Ginger (Elle Fanning) and Rosa (Alice Englert), are growing up in 1960s London as the Cuban Missile Crisis looms. Also stars Annette Bening, Alessandro Nivola, Christina Hendricks. Rated PG-13.

THE HOST: When an unseen enemy threatens mankind by taking over their bodies and erasing their memories, Melanie (Saoirse Ronan) risks everything to protect the people she cares most about. Also stars Max Irons, Jake Abel. Rated PG-13.

THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE: Magician Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) splits from his longtime stage partner after a guerrilla street magician steals their thunder. OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN: Disgraced former presidential guard Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) finds himself trapped inside the White House in the wake of a terrorist attack. Also stars Aaron Eckhart, Dylan McDermott, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett. Rated R.

ON THE ROAD: Young writer Sal Paradise (Sam Riley) has his life shaken by the arrival of free-spirited Dean Moriarty (Garrett Hedlund) and his girl, Marylou (Kristen Stewart). As they travel across the country, they encounter a mix of people who each impact their journey. Also stars Kirsten Dunst, Viggo Mortensen. Rated R.

OZ THE GREAT AND POWERFUL: A small-time magician with dubious ethics arrives in a magical land and must decide if he will be a good man or a great one. Stars James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz. Rated PG.

QUARTET: At a home for retired opera singers, the annual concert to celebrate Verdi’s birthday is disrupted by the arrival of Jean Horton (Maggie Smith), an eternal diva and former wife of Reginald Paget (Tom Courtenay), one of the residents. The film is Dustin Hoffman’s directorial debut. Also stars Michael Gambon, Billy Connolly. Rated PG-13.

SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK: After a stint in a mental institution, former teacher Pat Solitano (Bradley Cooper) moves back in with his parents and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife. Things get more challenging when Pat meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a mysterious girl with problems of her own. Also stars Robert De Niro. Rated R.

SPRING BREAKERS: Four college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break vacation find themselves bailed out by a drug and arms dealer who wants them to do some dirty work. Stars Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Rachel Korine, James Franco. Rated R.

STOKER: After India’s (Mia Wasikowska) father dies, her Uncle Charlie (Matthew Good), whom she never knew existed, comes to live with her and her unstable mother (Nicole Kidman). Rated R.

YOSSI: The sequel to Yossi & Jagger finds Dr. Yossi Hoffman (Ohad Knoller) reminiscing about his love 10 years after his death. However, as he encounters a group of young soldiers, one of them, Tom (Oz Zehavi), reignites his romantic feelings. Also stars Shlomo Sadan, Lior Ashkenazi. Not rated.
